HSBC Bank (M) Sdn Bhd has formed an alliance with Yahoo! Southeast Asia to
promote its range of credit cards in a move to strengthen its presence as an
electronic banking (e-banking) service provider. The bank's personal
financial services general manager Rohit Bhargava said the strategic
alliance with Yahoo! is expected to boost HSBC's credit card sales by 20 per
cent this year.
